2021: evolution happens!

15 June 2021 – 27 February 2022

Evolution is often perceived as a slow process lasting millions of years, which has been completed since the appearance of modern humans. Few are aware that evolution is a continuous process that can take place quickly, even within a few decades. In cooperation with the University Research Priority Program "Evolution in Action", the Zoological Museum of the University of Zurich realised a special exhibition that made current evolutionary processes tangible and perceptible.

Using various examples from the fields of medicine, agriculture and nature conservation, the interactive exhibition conveyed that evolution is also observable today and shapes our environment.
