2018 «Insects - essential to life!»

In nature insects are not only responsible for pollinating fruit trees, they also serve as food for birds and fish and as soil inhabitants they increase the soil fertility. Unfortunately, these small creatures are not doing very well at the moment. The special exhibition «Insects - essential to life!» in the Zoological Museum of the University of Zurich highlights the present insect decline and offers simple solutions to counteract the problem.
